The Romaine Portrait

Base on Van Eyck's Arnolfini Portrait. Why replace Mr. and Mrs. Arnolfini with vegetables? Why not, right? Lettuce and tomato go well together and really compliment each other like a couple. I think, saying if lettuce and tomato were married, they'd keep onions around as pets, and being plants, they would have no need for sandals.

It makes perfect sense when you think about it.
